Loaded Gun (Zimmerli Art Museum Poetry)

I smirk.
I hinder.
Loaded gun—makes me shiver.
I smash the barrel—down my throat.
I shake.
I quiver.
Loaded gun—everyone knows I can’t deliver.
My finger slips,
I pull the trigger.
